How to pick a color

Use the left rail to choose how you want to pick: the spectrum, from an image, or by HEX, RGB or HSL. Whatever you pick stays in the shared result panel, so you can switch any time without losing your color.

Drag the spectrum, slide the RGB or HSL channels, type a hex code, or hover and click on an image. The image picker adds a magnifier loupe so you can land on the exact pixel you want.

The result panel shows HEX, RGB, HSL and CMYK at once. Each row has its own copy button | click it and the value goes to your clipboard, with a checkmark to confirm. Paste it straight into CSS, Figma or a print file.

Need something outside the tool? The Pick from screen button opens your browser's eyedropper (Chrome and Edge) so you can sample any pixel anywhere on your display and load it straight into the panel.

Every picker builds a palette: the image picker extracts the photo's dominant colors, and the others generate tints, shades and harmonies of your color. Click any swatch to load it, hit Copy all for every hex code, or PNG to download a labelled swatch sheet.
